Are you an organised and proactive individual who thrives in a fast paced environment? We're looking for a Clinical Support Specialist to join our team and gather and collate evidence for retrospective reviews of previously unassessed periods of care, undertaking reviews and taking appeal minutes.
Acacium Group are a leading global healthcare delivery partner and we are hiring a Clinical Support Specialist. Part of Acacium Group, Xyla's care assessments team offer a range of assessment services to support local authorities in providing the best possible health outcomes for the communities they serve. Our teams regularly act as additional resource to aid local authorities in supporting as many individuals in their health needs as possible, whether that be determining eligibility for continuing healthcare, carrying out a deprivation of liberty assessment, or even occupational therapy or physiotherapy assessments.
đź’ˇ About the Role
In this role, you will:
Meet with patients and their representatives in potentially sensitive situations and provide appropriate responses in a variety of complex scenarios.
Analyse and interpret large volumes of information enabling robust decisions to be made for NHS Continuing Healthcare.
Liaise with our clinical teams, integrated care boards, adult social care and care providers.
Facilitate meeting with patients and their representatives explaining assessment processes and discussing complex health and care needs.
This is a role where your attention to detail and communication skills will make a real difference.

Experience relating to NHS Continuing Healthcare, having worked across a broad spectrum of client groups or projects.
Experience assessing individual’s health and social care needs.
