We’re looking for an Head of Clinical Operations to join our Echocardiography team. Within this role you will be responsible and accountable for the clinical delivery of echo services throughout the UK and the management of the senior clinical team. Additionally, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining business continuity and building resilient service delivery through robust capacity planning.
The Head of Clinical Operations is a senior leader in the diagnostics and screening division of Xyla. You will have experience in complex multi-stakeholder healthcare environments with a proven track record of delivering high quality services within quality and financial parameters. You are responsible for the clinical delivery of echo services throughout the UK and the management of the senior clinical team. You will be the subject matter expert on echocardiography, overseeing the governance of the services.

Everyday you will…
- Work in close relationship with the Head of Operations, Head of Partnerships & Head of Cardiology, ensuring relevant day to day matters relating to services and delivery issues are escalated in an appropriate and effective manner.
- Work collaboratively to manage the clinical mobilisation of echo contracts, including operational models, governance and risk, with the Head of Partnerships and Head of Operations.
- Be responsible for developing a culture of high performance and accountability where safety, quality and excellence in patient outcomes is consistently delivered, reviewing performance data and taking decisive action in relation to service development to maintain high performance.
- Responsible for people managing the Echo Quality and Training Leads & Echo Service Manager. · Provides coaching and development for staff to reach their full potential, promoting self-development.

- British Society of Echocardiography Accreditation (full accreditation for at least 5 years).
- Strategic leadership and direction setting within organisations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
