As our Resourcing & Commercial Manager, you will lead the coordination of clinical workforce resourcing and oversee commercial operations across Elective Care services. This strategic role combines operational delivery, financial oversight, and team leadership to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service provision for NHS clients and patients.
You will be responsible for managing the Acute Resourcing & Booking Team, overseeing clinical payroll and travel/accommodation operations, and driving improvements in systems and processes. Working closely with Service Delivery, Mobilisation, Finance, and MSP partners, you will ensure that staffing is efficient, communication is seamless, and commercial performance is continuously monitored and optimised.

Everyday you will...
- Effectively line managing and leading the Resourcing and Booking team, actively supporting and promoting the development of the team, through a clear and structured 1to1 framework.
- Ensuring prompt escalation processes for urgent and long-term shift gaps, working closely with our Group recruitment & compliance Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Leading the MSP relationship, ensuring services are being delivered in line with agreed KPI’s/SLA, minimising/irradicating the impact of workforce related cancellations within the Acute business.
- Distributing work effectively across all team members to ensure that work is completed efficiently, accurately, and ahead of required timelines.
- Taking the lead on all Telephony projects and responsibility for the performance of our lines against the SLA requirements.
- Becoming a super-user for the current resourcing and CRM system, IQX, participating and leading in the review and improvement of the system.
- Leading on the development of new technology to support better clinic coordination, resourcing, and staff experience.
- Overseeing the distribution of relevant documentation and reporting instructions, including team lists, site documents/updates, to all clinical teams ahead of their shifts.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…
- Experience in managing a large team within a fast paced, complex, and regulated industry including scheduling large multi-disciplinary service teams within healthcare.
- Prior expertise in team KPI management, implementing cost control measures and reporting on this
- Strong relationship building, management and communication skills to support mobilising large teams of clinical staff to meet contract demands
- Track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of staff both internally and externally
