We are seeking a Service Development Manager for Xyla Healthcare Services. This role is vital for identifying and developing growth opportunities in core and new markets, aligned with our five-year plan.
The focus will be on managing tender opportunities to maximise market share and explore new services. The Service Development Manager will collaborate with the Strategic Growth Director, Senior Leadership Team, BD/Sales teams, and other colleagues to develop opportunities from capture through to bid outcome.

- Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share and revenue, ensuring profitability and scalability.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships to support national strategy and local tender opportunities.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategies and identify new market segments.
- Manage tender opportunities from capture to outcome, ensuring compliance and addressing client needs.
- Attend events and engage with clients to influence technical and commercial aspects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement growth propositions and high-quality tender submissions.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have..
- Experience working within Healthcare- Essential
- Operational experience: Skilled in solution building and bid writing, with healthcare experience being a plus.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and collaboration with diverse teams and seniority levels.
- Time management: Effective at managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changes.
- Attention to detail: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness: Project management approach to planning and scheduling tasks.
