As a Privacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting Acacium Group’s commitment to global data protection laws and best practices. You will contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive global privacy framework that not only ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements but also strengthens the organisation’s overall data privacy posture.
In this role, you will provide practical, day-to-day guidance on privacy matters across projects and operations. Your support will be key in managing data-related risks, fostering trust among clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Every day you will…
- Support the development of a privacy compliance framework aligned with global laws, under the DPO’s guidance.
- Provide practical and impactful guidance on projects and day to day advice in a timely and accurate manner
- Log and manage data subject rights requests to ensure timely, compliant responses.
- Conduct audits and implement action plans to improve privacy practices.
- Assist in the creation and continuous improvement of essential privacy document

To thrive in this role, you must have…
- Sharp attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex privacy issues clearly.
- A proactive attitude toward learning—while no prior data privacy experience is required, you should be eager to work toward a recognised privacy qualification through formal training, informal learning, reading, and self-directed study.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, offering practical, risk-aware solutions that align with both privacy requirements and business goals.
