Are you a motivated, meticulous individual with a keen eye for attention to detail? Do you have experience working cross collaboratively in a multi faceted enviornment working towards various deadlines and ensuring billing accuracy? 

We are seeking a self driven, detail orientated Billing Specialist to manage our multicurrency billing cycle for our Proclinical entities in the UK and Switzerland. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoices, thereby supporting our financial processes and revenue recognition activities. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, working closely with internal teams such as Payroll, Operations, and Sales.

Every day you will…

• Deal with generating invoices for various clients ensuring accuracy and correct allocation to accounts. 
• Process multi currency invoices for contract placements with 100% accuracy 
• Collaborate across multiple buisness functions and payroll to ensure time sheets align and discrepancies are handled in a timely manner 
• Work closely with the wider team and finance manager to run monthly and yearly audit cycles 
• Work with external clients to manage billing queries working towards a 24hr outcome

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a billing role, ideally within recruitment, consultancy, or professional services.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables; confident using finance platforms such as Great Plains, Bullhorn, or equivalent CRM systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of billing and documentation.
• Solid understanding of timesheet-based billing, with experience handling portal-based self-billing clients.
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU invoicing standards, including VAT application and compliance.
• Ability to prioritise and work independently, managing workload effectively to meet tight month-end deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative within the scope of billing and finance operations.
