Are you a subject matter expert (SME) in tax? Do you have experience working within a large organisation? 

We have an opportunity to join our Finance team as a Group Tax Manager, responsible for being that SME supporting our 20+ international businesses. You will manage the governance around all company tax responsibilities including corporate tax calculation, VAT and payroll taxes. We're looking for a personable individual with excellent stakeholder management skills to work collaboratively with external parties as well as internal colleagues.

Everyday you will...

• Be responsible for general tax governance, overseeing both the UK and international tax compliance 
• Undertake year-end provisioning for Group reporting and individual statutory accounts, liasing with external auditors
• Prepare and file UK corporate tax returns with HMRC
• Oversee UK VAT compliance and international indirect taxes
• Monitor the Group's PESM and liaise with HMRC where necessary
• Maintain the VAT determination guide and train for business as needed 
• Conclude IR35 positions with regard to the group’s services and staffing divisions and monitor compliance

To thrive in this role, you must have...

• Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification
• Experience in/understanding of corporate tax calculation, VAT and payroll taxes
• Experience in a large organisation with knowledge of different jurisdictions around the world
• Excellent relationship management skills
