We are looking for a Community Governance Clinician as part of our Community Governance Team provide clinical governance support to the complex clinical, LDA and mental health clinical teams operating within Xyla Community Services. The purpose of the team is to ensure that all care packages are safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-led and to drive accountability, change and clinical excellence

Everyday you will…
- carry out audits in the following areas: new packages, focused audits, on digital nurse logs, on associate files to ensure quality is maintained in the recruitment process followed up with feedback meetings and working with the Community Governance Manager to Head of Community Governance to report on trends.
- work alongside the Governance Coordinators and be the clinical point of reference for clinical incidents and carry out clinical investigation meetings including reviewing clinical documentation in line with incident report, review statements and provide clinical feedback
- complete clinical skills discussion for associate workers at point of recruitment and for annual compliance updates
- conduct clinical training sessions for our Health Care Support Workers and Registered Nurses. Training will be delivered remotely or face to face depending on the course.
- Working with the Community Governance Coordinators you will become an expert in the Digital System and provide support and guidance. You will provide specialist support to the system users, addressing problems that arise and acting as a link between the users and the system administration team

To thrive in this role, you must have...
- UK Nursing registration and able to evidence extensive clinical experience within the field of complex care within critical care setting or similar including advanced clinical interventions.
- an ability to build effective working relationships with clinicians and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and be able to inspire and motivate others
- recent tracheostomy and ventilation management experience
- competency in using digital platforms with little training
- strong written and verbal communication skills
