(37.5 hours with Option of compressed hours)
£43,000 - £45,000 DOE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Step 2 Lead / Low Intensity Manager to manage the low intensity provision of Xyla Digital Therapies and be responsible for delivering quality outcomes and experience across low intensity services. You will also line manage the low intensity team and be a role model across the clinical team whilst carrying a small caseload and being available for complex assessments
You will have a secure knowledge of low intensity IAPT based treatments, as well as the requisite leadership and management competencies to help develop, support, train and provide robust management and clinical leadership to the Low Intensity Team Leaders, Senior PWPs and PWPs. You will be a strong team player and work collaboratively to maximise the potential of the team.
Playing a key role in influencing the development of a culture of continuous improvement in quality, safety, and performance within all designated functions as well as being an ambassador for the organisation, promoting the national mental health agenda, as well as strategically influencing system planning with partners. Every day you will…
- Support Senior PWPs and Team Leaders to screen complex patients and assist them in making decisions on suitability of these referrals, adhering to Xyla Digital therapies protocols, and procedures. Assisting the team in referring unsuitable clients onto the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or stepping-up the person’s treatment to high intensity.
- Provide line management and/or clinical supervision to 2 low intensity team leaders and Senior PWPs as required. Ensuring staff participate in ongoing professional and personal development and or identifying training needs and appropriate training to meet these needs.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for systematic governance of the clinical service and team. Lead on policy reviews and implement policy changes within the clinical team and network.
- Act as an additional contact point for the escalation of risk and safeguarding issues providing support in the management of these issues
- In collaboration with the Service Lead/Clinical Lead, you will keep up to date with the latest research and training on Low Intensity (LI) treatment models that lead to reliable recovery and will be responsible for sharing this with the team.
- Focus on assisting in the collection of comprehensive assessment and recovery data, at low intensity, Identifying patient recovery outcome themes and create action plans to address concerns.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally...
- A BABCP/BPS recognised LI CBT qualification.
- A BABCP/IAPT recognised LI Supervision qualification.
- Proven experience managing a team and working in IAPT using IAPTUS
- Experience providing supervision and management to Senior PWPS and PWPs within an IAPT service
- Have had some exposure to working in a digital service environment
