£65,000 - £70,000 DOE + Bonus structure 15% of Annual salary + £4800 Car Allowance

Due to business growth we are looking for a Head of Service Development who will be responsible for meeting new business growth targets across CHS Healthcare and Xyla Health and Social Services, through the identification of new leads, growing pipeline opportunities and creating new business.
In the role you will be responsible for taking new propositions to market, helping to ensure we remain the leading provider of patient flow services across the United Kingdom. Whilst being responsible for supporting existing and new clients develop new ways of working, transforming wider patient flow services through outcome based service reviews and the provision of long term partnership working
You will provide expertise in direction in line with business strategy; lead, motivate and measure the performance of our growing service development team, ensuring individual and team budgets and objectives are consistently met. Collaborating with the wider Growth team, the Service Development Director and Client Partners to ensure that all tenders and proposals are completed on time and to the highest quality.

Every day as our Head of Service Development you will…
- Lead the service development team which consists of 7 people, inspiring and developing each individual team member so they perform to the best of their ability
- Present market research and customer profiles, whilst recommending improved strategies to expand market reach, introduce new campaigns and deliver patient flow propositions in order to drive new pipeline opportunities
- Identify and build internal and external relationships to advance the business, working closely with our marketing teams to develop specific sales campaigns
- Take ownership and develop delivery of patient pathway flow propositions, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, market share and grow pipeline opportunities. Selling our story is key!!!

What will help you succeed in this role as our Head of Service Development ?
- A proven track record of developing and delivering new business pipeline within both public/private health and/or social care organisations is essential
- An ability to build long standing strategic partnerships and client relationships whilst being able to develop and enact long-term growth strategies
- Previous expertise in leading, developing and motivating a business development/sales team is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication to aid preparing proposals and presenting ideas to further enhance the business and its growth
