About the opportunity:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join our team as a Business Manager. You will be responsible for leading a recruitment team and will play an instrumental role in driving the business forward. In this role, you will build and grow the current team, drive the performance of your direct reports and consistently hit your personal billing targets in order to ensure profitability meets and exceeds budget forecast.

As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for;

· Directly managing a team of recruitment professionals

· Mentoring and coaching your direct reports to develop their skills and improve performance

· Ensuring the team are meeting and exceeding targets and KPI’s, as well as your own

· Training new starters

· Demonstrating a high standard of conduct and performance and being a positive example to the team

· Setting KPI’s and objectives for the team, relative to overall company goals

· Managing performance effectively within the team, and working with HR in relation to performance-related issues

· Carrying out reviews, appraisals and probations

· Successfully forecasting weekly gross margin

· Presenting to clients and team members

· Understanding framework requirements and always striving for quality

· Maintaining and building on personal performance to increase gross margin and achieve targets/budget

· Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates

· Managing new and existing accounts

· Maximising opportunities with current accounts or potential new clients

· Successfully winning new business

· Filling nursing shifts within your geographical area

· Working with the compliance team to ensure all required documentation has been completed

· Negotiating, persuading and influencing in order to achieve the best outcome

 

Skill set and experience required:

· Experience in healthcare or nursing recruitment is essential

· Evidence of a proven track record of success/billings in the nursing recruitment market

· Strong leadership and management skills

· Experience in coaching and developing a recruitment team

· Excellent communication skills and the capability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
